A Message from Fr. Bryan

Dear Friends in Christ,

This past Sunday was wonderful. We celebrated the resurrection of our Lord and welcomed twelve children through the sacrament of baptism. We had much to celebrate, and we have a great deal to look forward to in the year ahead. St. John's is doing well, so please know how grateful I am for all of you. When Suzanne and I gathered with a group of people to plant this church in the late spring of 2017, our primary hope was to create a traditional Anglican parish in the Canton area so that we could have a church home in our own town and a group of Christian friends gathered in and under the authority of Christ. It has been a true blessing to see that hope realized over the last four years.

As we continue to gather during this Easter season, which includes 50 days from Easter Sunday until Pentecost, we can look forward to longer days, more good weather (God willing!), and more time for fellowship. Please note that this coming Sunday (April 11th) our newly elected Bishop, The Right Reverend Mark Engel, will be with us to preach and preside. Please plan to join us in order to meet Bishop Mark. Please also note that the CanaVox group will meet again next on April 16th at the Church.

Below, I've included a group picture with our members from Sunday, and if you'd like to see more pictures from our Easter Service, you can find them on our Facebook page at this link. See you Sunday!

Grace & Peace,
Bryan+

The Reality of Baptism by Fr. Bryan

    F8CE2B93-3FDE-41E3-A106-95B75E05DB11
A message from the series "Sermons from Lectionary Texts." We celebrated this Easter with one of the most wonderful celebrations of Christian faith: baptism, and lots of them. So, Fr. Bryan expounded on the reality and meaning of baptism for our candidates, and their families as well, as they continue a journey into the Christian faith with us.
