When you stop by the church to pick up consecrated bread this week, you will notice a very small token of our appreciation for all of the Mother's at St. John's. Don't forget to celebrate the Mothers in your life! Regarding our upcoming eucharistic liturgy, I have left consecrated bread in plastic baggies on a table in the sanctuary, just as I did last week. The bread is on a table just inside the church, and the doors will be open at the following dates and times: (1) Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. & (2) Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. & (3) Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
If you offered to drop off a food bag for the Urban Ark Ministry, please leave it on a table when you pick up your consecrated bread. Just as I mentioned last week, please take the exact amount of bread that you and your family will need for this coming Sunday. All eucharist bread distributed to households needs to be consumed during the eucharistic liturgy this Sunday.
I don't have much else to report this week and hope that you are all doing well. As usual, I will send out the liturgy for Evening prayer sometime this afternoon. I look forward to spending some time in prayer with you this Evening and celebrating the Lord's Supper together on Sunday.
