St. John's Schedule

A Message from Fr. Bryan

Dear Friends in Christ,

As I mentioned last week, we will have a missionary to Turkey with us this Sunday, October 11th, and we plan to take up a special offering during the service. Please prayerfully consider bringing a special gift in addition to your regular contribution, and indicate on the memo line of your check that your contribution is intended for the Turkey Mission.

You may also give online by going to the Anglican Frontier Missions website at https://anglicanfrontiers.com/give-to-a-ccwor-fund/ You will need to scroll down to “Samuel (230).” Samuel is his alias name and #230 is his account number.

Also this coming Sunday, we are taking the kids of St. John's on a field trip to Maize Valley from 3-6 pm. Tickets are $11 per person (kids 2 and under are free) and need to be purchased online in advance. The church will reimburse all ticket purchases for children 3-17 years of age. You can read more about Maize Valley and the activities offered at this link. All are welcome, so please join us!

We had a good group last night for our first session of the 1 Thessalonians bible study. If you were not able to join us and would like to in the future, we plan to meet every Tuesday at the church at 6:30 p.m. We are using a simple bible study guide from Crossway, which you can purchase online. Our next meeting will cover Session 2, which begins on page 12, so plan to do the bible study in advance and join us for good fellowship and discussion.

Have a blessed week.

Grace & Peace,
Bryan+
