| | A Message from Fr. Bryan | Christmas day is fast approaching, and I hope you can all spend some time with family and friends and give thanks for the gift of Christ's birth. Our collect for Christmas morning is worthy of your meditation as you prepare:
| | Almighty God, you have given your only-begotten Son to take our nature upon him, and to be born of a pure virgin: Grant that we, who have been born again and made your children by adoption and grace, may daily be renewed by your Holy Spirit; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom with you and the same Spirit be honor and glory, now and for ever. Amen. |
I do have three important matters to tell you about. First, please note that we will have no Wednesday evening prayer service tonight since we will all be together via Zoom on Thursday night, Christmas Eve. I've already seen the Christmas pageant made by Maggie, the kids, and our families, and it is very cute! We will begin our service tomorrow night with the pageant, so be sure to tune in by 6:30 p.m.
Second, don't forget that we will have a Eucharistic service on Christmas morning at 11:00 am, though the homily will be very short.
Finally, on Sunday after Christmas - December 27th, we will have a simple morning prayer service instead of Spiritual Communion or Holy Eucharist. The service will be casual, with no homily, and we will share praises and petitions with each other after the collects and before the General Thanksgiving. Please save any consecrated bread for the Sunday after New Year's day.
Please also note that all of the upcoming services will be available at the regular Sunday service Zoom link, which you can find under the worship tab on our homepage.
I hope you all have a blessed week, and I look forward to seeing you Thursday night for Lessons and Carols.

| Why Pay Attention to the Saints? by Fr. Bryan | | A message from the series "Sermons from Lectionary Texts." Fr. Bryan preached on the importance of remembering the saints of the church from every age, and the saintly prototype we receive in the Virgin Mary at St. John’s Anglican Church in North Canton, Ohio.
